Great job! MM is doing great with his letters. We have two of those pens with the eyes that pop out, Zach actually threw a huge tantrum in Staples because he couldn’t decide between the frog and the shark and we wouldn’t buy both. So he went with the frog, and Alex got a sheep. Of course the sheep lost an eye within days…
Jen E (momma aka me)
SAHM to a 3 yr old son & a 6 month old baby girl. I adore blogging, reading,
taking too many pictures of my kids
and spending quality time with my
handsome husband in between.
Daniel (dh, love of my life)
Daddy, McHubby, & engineer.
"tall dark & handsome, likes
to lean on things." Also likes:
tickling his children, going
for a morning run, doing Linux stuff,
and making homemade pizza.
MM (My Monkey, age 3)
Our son, might be a monkey:
He loves Mickey Mouse &
Handy Manny, drawing lots of pictures,
playing with his sister and
sneaking out of his room at night
to sleep on the couch.
BB (Baby Blueberry)
The newest addition to our family.
She chews anything she can get
her hands on, rolls her way to any
destination at the speed of light, and
she now sleeps in her own crib
at night!

Momma Just Read
Little Children
by Tom Perrotta
- Abandoned February 3, 2010 -
This book is being discussed in an upcoming book club I've been thinking about joining and I have heard some good reviews about it but I just could not bring myself to care about the characters of this story of suburbia, apparently unhappy marriages, and a blatant dissatisfaction with the life of stay at home parenting.
I can understand that these topics are a reality for millions and it's not that I cannot read a book that I can't relate to personally - I can and have. And frankly there were things I could relate to but I could not seem to care about any of the characters at all.
It was like watching a handful of sad people trapped in boxes they'd knowingly climbed into - and being forced to sit inside those boxes with them. The best part of this book was putting it down and being greeted by my own life, which is kind of the opposite of falling into a good book.
I feel like I'm trying to make excuses for not finishing this book, like I've done some horrible misdeed but at the end of the day I have to remind myself that I have better things to do with my time than read a book I'm not enjoying, whatever the reasons.
I love it!
looks like may house too!!
I’m so impressed. Looks like you are both having a great time!
Was this post brought to us by the new season of Sesame Street?
Very cute!
Awesome! Did you use an online program to create those?
@ Christie : I made it using the collage feature in Picasa which you can download for free.
You could open up your own preschool. Those pages are fantastic!
