Last night was Bunco night – a true lifesaver these days as we’ve been cooped up sans car more than I like, making us all a bit batty. Mommy was truly, truly in need of a night out without the kids and it was heavenly. We ate junk food, played a fun game, I got to talk to new friends and old – and I won back $4 of the $5 we put in to play. Not bad!
So my Aloha Friday question this week is:
When was the last time you went out with friends, no kids and no spouse along?
What is your favorite thing to do when you do get a Mom’s Night Out?

Oh how I miss Bunco! I used to be part of a group that did that when I lived in Seattle – I can’t wait to get back to that when we move back!
It’s been a really long time since I’ve had a night out sans the hubby and child…I think I better rectify that soon!
Aloha Follow: Goody Bags
Well it’s been years since I have been out with friends.
Aloha Friday- Holiday contest?
Hm.. I think one of my last times was for a Twilight midnight showing, then another of the same, then the latest Twilight in the afternoon. Unfortunately, they all consisted of meeting up, watching the movie and leaving….not much talking, venting, laughing included.
Hmm I go shopping without him, and recently went to the movies with a friend!
It’s been years since I had ‘Mommy Break’. Sigh!
wow
i have not had one of those……
lol, but i would love a mani pedi with friends
last week – went out for a bday dinner and then going out tonight – to hang out at my friend’s house! it’s such a nice break and my husband actually encourages it!
I went out with a girlfriend for dinner a few weeks ago! We ususally like to go out to dinner if we go out or go and see a chick flick.
Last month, I think? I don’t do that enough…clearly.
I don’t get mothers night out. If I did, I’d probably not know what to do with myself.
I think it was in August.
So funny!! I had Bunco night last night too! Our group just started – this is our second time playing and we are having a great time.
Well, I’m going out tonight! Going to a fancy ‘culinary’ dinner! The college I work at has them 2 times a year & they are a lot of fun, but most very relaxing!
Have a Wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
