I can’t seem to get comfortable in this season where one day we can go out in light sweaters and the next day we need a winter jacket, hats, mittens and cocoa just to get through 5 minutes outdoors.

Luckily we love winter hats, like this one that MM got from school – apparently someone at the school made all the kids at his elementary school custom made fleece hats, designed by the kids! MM is in love with his hat and wants to wear it everywhere.

But our closet is kind of crazy full right now because on any given day we might need a light rain jacket, a slightly warmer fall jacket, a winter jacket or the warmest winter jacket known to man. Everytime I think the light coats can probably go into storage, I wake up and it’s in the 50′s or 60′s again! (I know, poor me)

But seriously, the problem is that I get comfortable and let my guard down and put on a nice light weight sweater or blouse and turn down the thermostat and then an hour later it’s 23 degrees out and I’m desperately crawling under every blanket we own and drinking my weight in teas, hot cocoa and apple cider. My poor diet, it doesn’t stand a chance.
