Head to toe, fabulous mild winter fashions.

Posted on February 17, 2012 by Jen E @ mommablogsalot

We barely needed our winter coats yesterday as we walked to the bus stop to collect MM.

We barely needed the hat either but it’s so pretty she insisted on wearing it anyway.

No more winter boots, for the time being we are back to pretty shoes.

Same beautiful smile and big blue eyes – no matter the season, this girl is a stunner.

Meet the Family

Jen E (momma aka me)
Stay at home momma to a 7 yr old son & a 3 year old daughter. I'm a book-a-holic who also enjoys baked goods (a little too much), photography, travel & writing.

Daniel (dh, love of my life)
Daddy, McHubby, & engineer. "tall dark & handsome, likes to lean on things." Literally excels at everything, from cooking to woodworking, geekery and fitness - he's My Jack of All Trades!

MM (My Monkey, 7)
My son is a first grader this year and told me recently that he likes first grade better because instead of playing games they learn more things. Clearly my son! When he's not geeking out with schoolwork, he's likely busy with Cub Scouts, riding scooters with his best friend or watching Doctor Who or Phineas and Ferb.

BB (Baby Blueberry, 3)
My daughter is a pretty typical three year old - she is a big girl / little girl / princess / dictator depending on her mood and whether she's had a nap. She loves peanut butter and jelly, juice boxes, Minnie Mouse and Olivia, will climb ANYTHING and knows no fear whatsoever. She is possibly the most beautiful creature I've ever laid eyes on and I'm pretty sure she knows it.

The Runaway King (The Ascendance Trilogy, #2)The Runaway King by Jennifer A. Nielsen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I think in some ways I enjoyed The Runaway King even more than the first in this series. Sage aka Jaron's wit and humor is as well written as ever and his character is going through a bit of personal growth while trying to save his kingdom from certain peril. This book packs adventure, coming of age, a touch of romance & a lot of humor between it's pages. I highly recommend this series!
