MM (My Monkey, 7)
My son is a first grader this year and told me recently that he likes first grade better because instead of playing games they learn more things. Clearly my son! When he's not geeking out with schoolwork, he's likely busy with Cub Scouts, riding scooters with his best friend or watching Doctor Who or Phineas and Ferb.
BB (Baby Blueberry, 3)
My daughter is a pretty typical three year old - she is a big girl / little girl / princess / dictator depending on her mood and whether she's had a nap. She loves peanut butter and jelly, juice boxes, Minnie Mouse and Olivia, will climb ANYTHING and knows no fear whatsoever. She is possibly the most beautiful creature I've ever laid eyes on and I'm pretty sure she knows it.

I think in some ways I enjoyed The Runaway King even more than the first in this series. Sage aka Jaron's wit and humor is as well written as ever and his character is going through a bit of personal growth while trying to save his kingdom from certain peril. This book packs adventure, coming of age, a touch of romance & a lot of humor between it's pages. I highly recommend this series!

@ Nancy : A swing set would be wonderful if only we had a nice level place to put it. The big downside to our yard is that it’s so hilly, there are very few level spots.
Can I just say that I love that Miss BB sports her do rag so cutely. Im jealous as me not so much…
