Fall Into Reading 2009: Reading List

I might be crazy to even think about attempting this. Considering that it’s been taking me about a month to finish a single book – why make a list with, oh my god, 10 books on it? Wouldn’t it be more sane to list, oh maybe, 3 books? Nope – because that’s not a challenge. I WANT to read more. And you know, I might not finish and read all the books I list here, but basically – here are the books I would like to read this fall. Maybe I’ll only get to three of them – maybe I’ll read them all. We’ll see. Anyway – if you are reading this and going, “Fall into what?” just click here for more info. And for the rest of us, without further adieu, here is my list, crazy as it may be…

    Hi Jen,
Good Girl, I am proud of you for putting 10 books.
What a fun book. The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood.

I put over 20, I would have liked to read them all.
I keep falling asleep everytime I start reading.
    It relaxes me so much.

    Thanks for joining us.

    Great list!

I hope you enjoy the Hunger Games (the seqel, Catching Fire, is just as good, if not better!)

Hunger Games was one of my favorite reads of the year. I just finished reading Catching Fire and i am DYING for book 3! 20 boy summer was really good too.

Even if you don’t get to them all, that’s okay — maybe just listing them will motivate you to read a little more than you otherwise would. 🙂

Thanks for being part of the challenge, and enjoy your fall reading!!

Your list looks great. The only one I’ve read is 20 boy summer. I’ll have to head over to Amazon and check out what the other books are about.

Yep–the challenge is what got me to read more because I really DID want to read more. That was 3 years ago, and now look at me.

You have some great books on your list!

Great list! Since I still haven’t mailed Little Children, and am finished with Catching Fire, I can send that to you as well.

We are book twins. I am convinced. I want to read the books you have on your list!!! Ugh! I have so many books waiting to be read right now, bt I keep forgetting how nearly impossible it is to read two pages with a 1 yr old around! LOL!

I think I’m going to have to add Hunger Games to my already bursting at the seams list! Good luck with the Challenge.

I really want to do this challenge and probably will but I’m going to keep it simple stupid and not go over board. I’m certainly adding Julie and Julia to my list and Hunger Games one which I keep meaning to read.

I agree about a challenge. I almost always have more on my list than I’ll actually get to, but I love the challenge as well.

I don’t think I am familiar with any of these except Robin Hood, and I don’t think I’ve read that. I’ll be looking forward to hearing what you think about them.

Hunger Games was really really good. It’s not a book I would normally have read, but it is one that I thoroughly enjoyed.

    Fifteen was better than fourteen.

Cleopatra’s Daughter looks soooooooo good. I actually have Michelle Moran’s book Nefertiti sitting in my book pile right now. I can’t wait to read it.
