Dear blog,

This year I was smart enough to set a calendar reminder for our anniversary, in an effort to decrease my odds of forgetting. I have been a terrible blog wife in that regards in years past and though it’s occasionally gotten me cake and rarely upset anyone other than me – I wanted to do better for you this year. I even made you your own graphic. Your welcome.

It’s hard to believe I’ve been doing this blogging thing for 6 years and though I frankly have little to show for my efforts other than a handful of fantastic readers that I love dearly and a LOT of pictures and old blog headers and a few posts that made me smile and think, “That was pretty swell. Go me.” – no, you know what. I think I have everything to show, at least everything that matters.

Thank you for giving me a space to spill my heart, share with you my ups and downs and all the little moments in between and for giving me a creative outlet that I would have gone crazy without. Thank you for being here at nap time or when it was supposed to be nap time but definitely still wasn’t. Thank you for indulging me when I waxed poetic about John Mayer’s relationship status or last night’s American Idol. For celebrating all the birthdays and anniversaries and firsts and lasts.
