Me: Are you trying to get in trouble?
MM: No….
Me: Well you are doing a great job… [note sarcasm]
MM: Thanks [note my head exploding]

HAHAHA! I could fill my blog with these! My favorite of late:
Me: Please clean all these crayons and markers up
JoJo: I will, soon as I’m done
Me: Thanks you (thinking: that was easy! Score for mom!)
JoJo: And when you are done on the computer, you can clean everything else up in the house. I’ll take care of the markers and crayons.
Me: (thinking: Dang it, he got me again!)

See? This is where it starts. The teenage drama starts in preschool days! I knew we’d been through it @ least once before! (love your responses to it though)
Wait until he looks down (literally) @ you when he does stuff like that. *g*

Hehe! I taught my daughter what “sarcastic” means, for just such moments! Now, she goes, “Mommy? Are you just being sarcastic?” It always breaks the tension!

I think I’ve had a similar conversation once or twice and I’m pretty sure I had it with my mother and so on and so on.
