My son loves all things Curious George and all things Christmas so it wasn’t difficult to determine that he would probably love the soundtrack for Curious George A Very Monkey Christmas. I wish we had seen the movie before listening to this music because I am willing to bet that it would be even more fun to listen to if we knew the entire premise. It’s airing during PBS pledge drive programming – it began November 25th but additional airings are scheduled for December 18, 19, 20 and Christmas Day, December 25 (check local listings for exact air dates and times).
Despite not knowing the premise though, my son enjoyed this music a lot and has asked me to play it frequently since getting it. He actually recognized the voice of The Man In The Yellow Hat and thought it was really cool to hear him singing Christmas songs. We’ll definitely be adding some of the tracks to our Christmas Mix CD, like MM’s favorite track on any Christmas CD, Jingle Bells. Other fun songs include: Something As Special As You (aka The Gift Song), Deck The Halls, Our Christmas Moneky (aka Betsy’s Song).

My favorite…jeez it’s hard to choose, but I think it’s “Let it Snow.” Now that I live where it gets cold, but doesn’t snow, I miss it!
