Jen @ Our Daily Big Top blogged about her favorite Christmas ornaments today. Her kids are a bit older than mine so she’s got a lot more “first baby” ornaments and things her kids have given her. I don’t have many of those yet (although I look forward to them!) but I thought I’d show you some of my favorite ornaments anyway – the ones that always make me smile or remind me of my own childhood.
I have a few of these – they’ve been hanging on my Christmas trees for as long as I can remember…
and where the lovely shimmery yarn angels went, these were sure to be found, too
It’s not Christmas without a stocking – this ornament makes me smile.
We got this one from my husband’s aunt – so it’s new to me but no less loved.
More from my childhood – it shouldn’t take you long to notice…
I am pretty infatuated with angels.
For my grandma it was Santas – she has them everywhere.
I want to be just like her when I grow up…
But I want my “everyone knows Jen loves” collection to be angels.
For sure.
What does Christmas look like in your house?

Zach hasn’t quite started with the ornaments yet but we have a growing collection from Alex and I love them. I personally love snowmen so have 2 shelves full of them, plus a handful of ornaments. If I get a chance tomorrow I’ll do my own post about what Christmas looks like in my house. 🙂

In a few years you’ll have to get a bigger tree to hold your growing collection! My two have given us quite a few that are The. Best. Ever!
Your home looks beautiful from the glimpses.

Love the angels! I’ve always wanted to be one of those known for collecting such and suches but it’s never happened. I do love all the crafty ornaments I’ve done for my tree. It kind of a became a tradition to craft a bunch of new ornaments each year, this year didn’t happen.

I bet your tree will be filled with MM and BB’s creations/gifts in no time. Angels are my daughter’s favorite too. Thanks for the peek into your Christmas.
