One of my favorite things, in basically the entire universe, is when the baby falls asleep in my arms. It was true with MM and so, so true with little BB. I don’t think there is anything more intoxicating and breath taking than the sight of that tiny little person snuggled up in your arms like it’s the safest, most comfortable  place in the world. And the sleeping baby smell? Should be bottled.

My very handsome hubby was kind enough to humor me when I interrupted whatever Linuxy type thing he was working on and asked him to take a picture of the baby sleeping – then said, “No, not that camera – use the good one for better lighting!” and “Can you like climb up next to me on the couch and shoot her from above?” He’s so helpful.

This is officially one of my new favorite pictures, as evident by the fact that I’ve been posting it everywhere. And I couldn’t wait for a Wordless Wednesday or Daybook Monday to share it with all of you – consider it an early Mother’s Day present. :0)
