Can you believe it’s August already? July felt like the longest month in eternity and yet at the same time, it feels like summer is flying by. I’m not sure how that’s possible, but there you have it. I had a really hard time picking my top 5 pictures for July – so many really great pictures and memories! But after much deliberation, here are the 5 that made the cut:

I am absolutely in love with this picture of BB watching her brother ride his tricycle. And by the way, he is getting SO good at that – such a big kid!

Of course I had to include the “winning” cake shot from BB’s first birthday party. BB is a big fan of seven minute frosting. She’ll fit right in.

Love this picture of BB feeding her brother sand while daddy buried him. This has been our only trip to the beach so far this year – I hope we manage to go again before summer ends.

I got these gorgeous flowers for BB’s birthday party and they are actually still alive and kicking. I always try to get a great picture of the flowers we buy since their life is so fleeting and buying flowers is so expensive!

Last is a picture I snapped of BB at the coffee shop the other day. I love how the morning light was hitting her and her eyes? Just stunning.

In conclusion we could rename July the Month of BB. Remind me to take more pictures of her brother this month!
