Sometimes I start taking pictures of her, and I can’t stop. I just sit there for like five minutes snapping away until suddenly I have 67 pictures from the past five minutes on my SD card. Nothing has really happened except some dirt played with and some sticks picked up. A breeze through her hair and a car driving by to startle her momentarily.

It’s not like she’s even paying any attention to me. She’s not “posing” or acknowledging me at all. Maybe that’s what makes the pictures so good (to me, the biased mother, at least)? The fact that she isn’t trying?

Regardless, I’m convinced my little girl has got this whole head to toe modeling thing down without even trying.
