I know I’ve been seriously lagging in the blog department – so I thought I’d share some recent Facebook status updates so you’ll feel less left out of the loop – and maybe some pictures for added fun!
September 21 – Our school’s fundraiser right now is build your own pizza packages from Little Ceasars. Seriously. I feel like this says everything about this school. I wouldn’t feed these packages (seriously it’s like lunchables style pizza but bigger) to my family, much less sell them to friends and loved ones.

September 23 – My big girl peed in the potty today!

September 24 – I’d like to give a shout out to my amazing husband for fixing every problem I was having with my new operating system. Not only did he get Picasa working on my computer this weekend – he got the NEWEST version of Picasa working. The one that alllllll the Linux forums say that I cannot have because it WILL NOT WORK is working almost flawlessly.

September 25 – Just got back from the doctor – I do not have a sinus infection OR an ear infection – just a bad cold that won’t go away. Just went to the pharmacy and bought all their medicine (ok fine specific meds recommended by the dr) so I can kick this cold’s butt. Also cookies. Because this is me we’re talking about.

September 27 – Just went through [BB’s] closets and sorted out which clothes fit her and don’t, which are seasonally appropriate, etc. and also weeded out all the old cloth diapers, baby blankets, crib sheets etc. that we no longer need. Her room looks so much more organized and I am exhausted lol – but we are now ready for the fall and it’s nice to see that we shouldn’t need to buy her a lot of clothes this winter unless she has a major growth spurt.

October 1 – Breakfast is cool.

October 3 – [MM] told me today that he likes first grade better than kindergarten because they don’t play as many games and instead do more learning. Seriously – you heard that right. Speaking of things heard correctly – I finally figured out that [BB] has been telling me tinker bell is “the best” and not something that rhymes with “witch”. Phew!
