Sadly, this might have been the best commercial Microsoft ever made. And in comparison – check out the worst Apple commercial ever (seriously, what the heck was that??). Honestly with computer ads this lame it’s kind of amazing how popular computers actually became and how far we’ve come. Can you even imagine the people making these commercials for Apple back then, if they’d known what computers would be like now? Do you think they’d be ashamed of themselves for thinking that was cool?

I also loved this Sony Walkman commercial (the world’s smallest walkman!). Also worth a laugh is this commercial for Radio Shack’s Portable Cellular Telephone. Oh man.
