Good News: I Found My Happy

If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter or read here regularly you probably noticed me moping my fool head off over a house we looked at the other night – and then found out the next day that they’d already accepted an offer on the house two days before – lame. And I know, not the end of the world – I know, there are other houses. I know, house hunting is tough and not for the faint of heart and clearly I will need a tougher skin here on out.

In some ways, losing this house was probably a really good thing because hopefully I’ve learned my lesson and I won’t get so attached to a house so early in the process from here on out. And probably I’m over reacting anyway and I just wanted some chocolate cake and a good excuse to mope yesterday. I got both so I’m thinking it’s a win win. I also got…

So, my point is – I’m good. That amazing fantastic family of mine took good care of me last night. My husband came home with chocolate Happy Belated Blog Birthday / Sorry We Lost Out On That House cake AND made dinner and my children reminded me that they will be adorable and fantastic and silly no matter where we live and today? Today I move on – now that I’ve gotten enough blogging material out of it. :O)

Okay, so w/ all of that lovin there was no way you could still be in the dumps! I mean the kids alone look so adorable & Dan cooking plus bringing home choc cake? Serious lovin!

House hunting is hard. Try approaching it as a job until one “speaks” to you. Then get super excited. OH & find some way to distinguish between the houses or you’ll never remember them. It’s just the way it is.

    Yeah, that’s some serious happy!

Good luck with the house hunt..it took us like 4-5 months! Hopefully, it will go better for you. I hear it’s a buyers market.
