Yesterday I wrote up my wishlist for the fall season. Pumpkin patching, apple picking, cider sipping. You know the usual. I started googling the apple orchards and pumpkin patches and corn mazes in the area, deciding which ones we want to visit this year. At first I was just planning to rerun the same places we went last year because they were nice, but then I thought since we are still new to the area, maybe we should check out a few others and explore some new areas at the same time. This weekend we’re thinking of getting our apple picking on and in a few weeks we’ll likely head out for some pumpkins. And if we should see a pile of leaves to jump in on the way? We’re jumping.
So anyway, my Aloha Friday question this week is:
What is your favorite thing to do in the fall?
or even
What is your favorite thing about autumn?
Take it easy today with Kailani @ An Island Life.
Write up a post with a simple question, then link up and check out the other bloggers.

We have been apple picking the last couple of yrs, and found we really enjoy it. Everyone also enjoys the apple pies I make later too – lol.

Living in Colorado you can’t help but anticipate the changing of the leaves in the fall and taking road trips to see the quivering aspens as they brighten up the landscape.

I love everything about fall, it’s my favorite time of year. One of my favorite things when we lived back east was go to our favorite farm and go apple picking, see the barnyard animals, pick out pumpkins and get some cider. I loved that farm! Sadly apple picking isn’t big here in northern Colorado, there are some places on the western part of the state but way too far for a day trip.
I’m looking forward to checking out some new places this year as well. Last year the boys were sick half of October and we didn’t get to do as much as I like to.
