Unplugging for the Holidays.

oh christmas tree

I’m trying a little experiment starting Monday morning and unplugging from my online life during the day. I want to put in more of an effort to spend quality time with the kids and maybe become a little bit less addicted to my favorite online haunts.

So you might find momma blogging a little less, though I am going to try to update in the early mornings and after supper when I’m not forcing my computer offline for the day. I literally had Dan make a little program thing to kick me offline between 9am-4pm because we all know that I’d break my plan otherwise after a couple of boring hours.

So here’s to more holiday cheer and less mindless Facebook games. I anticipate more crafting, family games, playing with kids, and maybe even some more cooking and cleaning.

Won’t you join me in Unplugging for the Holidays?

I’ll be unplugging completely when I leave to go visit my family for Christmas. I am SO looking forward to that!

Do it, do it, do it…and then tell me how to do it! Honestly, the holidays (during the day) are when I catch up…the girls are at school and I can get some stuff done!

Go for it Jen. This is why I don’t blog on the weekend anymore. I turn the pc off on Friday and don’t get back on till Monday, so that we can do things as a family. It works for me and I hope it works for you too.

I applaud this decision and wish I could join you. Unfortunately, I’m just starting my Christmas shopping and I can’t even THINK about taking a break right now… I can barely even think of sleeping. But yay you! 🙂
