Top 5 Pictures from December

2011 is officially here (which is still kinda unreal to me, to be honest) which means it’s time to post my Top 5 Pictures from the last and final month in my 365 Project! I took a lot more non-kiddo pictures this month and some of them definitely deserve mention. Here are my five favorites overall:

reflections. on 365 Project

This is a picture of rain on a windshield as we waited for daddy in the car while running errands in the beginning of the month. I just adore this shot and how you can see a reflection of that tree in each little droplet.

O Star of wonder, star of night... on 365 Project

I don’t love our tiny little tabletop sized Christmas Tree – this star actually being one of my least favorite things about it. But I love this picture and think it serves as a great symbol of our Christmas season.

::sigh:: on 365 Project

Of course I need to include this picture of Little BB in her gorgeous sweater dress. I love how her eyes and lips look in this photo and how long her pretty blond hair is getting.

A light shining through. on 365 Project

I spent a bit of time last month playing with manual focus and aperature, etc. This light was the focal point of most of that experimentation so I got some pretty cool pictures of it and posted one of them towards the end of the month.

its not easy being beautiful on 365 Project

This was the second to last picture in my 365 project and although I kind of wish she weren’t having a meltdown, I also kind of like that I managed to capture 2010 in all it’s glory, for better or worse and this picture really is ALL BB. Plus, it features her very first up do!

I am planning to do this project again in 2011 but I haven’t worked out the technicalities of how I want to do it with the Project 365 website yet. Without an ACE membership ($20 annual) I will have to just keep adding them onto my old album, which I suppose is fine, but I like being able to see the –/365 count to see how well I’m doing. If I uploaded a picture today it would say 366/366 which frankly just isn’t the same. I could delete all of my old pictures or maybe start a new account, but that makes me sad also. But do I really want to pay $20 for this? I’m not sure.

Either way, this little project of mine turned out to be so much more fun than I’d anticipated and very rewarding. 365 pictures in 365 days? Check.

Here are my top 5 pictures from JanuaryFebruaryMarchAprilMayJuneJuly, August, September, October and November.

Stay tuned for my Top 10 Pictures from 2010…
