Last night we took a short walk through town to get some fresh air and Dan snapped this random picture of MM and I walking together. I was so excited when I saw it – because just last week I took this one. His picture was totally accidental because our sweet little girl punched her daddy while he was taking the picture – haha – I don’t really have an excuse for my picture being blurry, but I love it!
Today
Outside my window: The sun is starting to come out and our temperatures are steadily getting warmer. We’ve been having a bit of rain on and off though, which will be good for the flowers I suppose.
This weekend: I finally got around to cutting MM’s hair. He always looks so much older every time he gets a hair cut.
We also: spent a lot of time indoors since Dan had the after hours pager last week and couldn’t really go out since he needed to be near his computer pretty much at all times. So we spent a lot of time just hanging out and doing a bit of baking, etc.
I’m reading: The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón on my Kindle and nearly halfway through. This book gets better and better as you go, with a plot that constantly surprises me and I love the rich details that are never overdone – really good book.
Things you should click:
- This week’s hot spot in Simple Mom’s Project: Simplify is kids’ toys and clothing. We try to do this regularly but I think both areas are due for a bit of an overhaul – the toys especially I’d like to really give a good purge before the move – more and more seems to accumulate with two kids than just one, which I’m sure is no big surprise to most people.
- I loved this adorable “sad story with a happy ending” at Wee Folk Art.
- The second I saw these new Mickey Mouse Themed Hand soaps from Method, I was infatuated – I want to find these for the kids’ bathroom when we get the house.
- Have you seen the Picture of Will Wheaton Collating Papers at The Bloggess. Review bloggers especially will want to check that out!
One last pictures to share before I go: is this adorable little shot of Miss BB – just because.
