Took the kids outside to pick dandelions per daddy’s request to rid his yard of the “weeds”. I personally love dandelions but I wasn’t going to pass up a chance to let the kids pick wild flowers, weeds, or whatever you want to call them. And take pictures of course.
The kids loved picking flowers and bringing them to me. We’d smell the flowers together and exclaim over how wonderful they smelled. They did smell pretty terrific. After a long winter, even plain old dandelions and fresh grass were enough to send me into raptures. Clearly I need to get out more.

After taking half a million pretty bright pictures of these cuties, I decided to take some pictures with my cell phone’s Retro Camera app for fun. They came out really cool so of course I want to share!

Look at all that green. We could use MM and BB in our yard. Dandelions are not allowed in our yard – my husband is the dandenator 😉
