Yesterday I pulled out my big beautiful Nikon D40 and took some legitimate pictures of my children. My new cell phone is pretty awesome but it also makes me a bit lazy with my picture taking. A 5 mega pixel camera on a cell phone? Unreal. It kind of rendered my Canon useless, but sometimes… sometimes you need to pull out the big guns and take some real pictures. Some printable frame-able pictures.

Some pictures that capture every detail, every line, every fleck of light that hits their eyes just so… The swoon worthy pictures that turn a momma into a puddle.

Don’t mind me while I lay here on the floor for awhile in a stupor over their gorgeousness. You can just nudge me over to the side with your foot if you need to get by.

I’m clearly going to need a moment to collect myself here. Over this beautiful, big girl. Where have all the babies gone? There are no babies here – only big kids.
