This week’s theme for the I Heart Faces photo contest is “b&w” and the judge is Kricia Morris a mom and photographer. Check out her photography site and her blog. I took this picture this fall at our “favorite bench” in our apartment complex. MM had a blast playing with nature and I had a blast photographing it. Initially I had fallen in love with all the colors in the pictures I took this day but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that some of them also looked beautiful in gray scale, like the shot above. It’s cracking me up that his ear is all squished in his hat. I just blogged photos of my son with his funny ears sticking out of his hat today! Little boys are just too darn cute for their own good!

Oh, he’s so cute! All boy. I love pics of kids in hats – something about how it forces your eye to focus more ont the face. This is a nice shot!
