We’ve been a bit lazy lately around these parts, trying to stay on top of house work. I know he’s a little stir crazy but luckily his imagination keeps him busy. Empty roll of toilet paper? Time to play Pirates of course! It’s a given thing in our home that these cardboard tubes belong to him once they are empty. Why do we bother buying toys again?
I’ve been complaining a bit about our whiny, screaming, not terribly communicative baby. This morning we finally noticed that, duh, she’s cutting her eye teeth. AKA worst thing ever, am I right? Poor girl. Dan gave her some baby orajel (sp?) and she seemed better today but still so screamy. It’s like she noticed these past few weeks how terribly effective screaming can be and now loves to do it all day and watch mommy jump ten feet in the air each time. Oy.

Fun being a pirate.
And, the screaming? Welcome to being mommy to a girl. It’s totally different…and she’s all girl.
