Patrice @ Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman tagged me to do the 6 Random Things meme, wherein I tell you six random things about myself. I could swear I’ve filled out this meme a couple times, but never one to pass up an opportunity to talk about myself, I’ll give it a go. For added fun, I’ll try to make it six NEW random things about me, k?

Before we get started, let’s get a few rules clear first, shall we?

1. I have the hiccups. I’ve had them for almost 30 minutes now and I’m thinking about standing on my head while drinking a glass of water, so if you’d like to jump out of my computer and yell BOO, now would be the time…
2. I think my foot is falling asleep, but I’m weird and I’m not moving it, because despite that half asleep feeling, I’m strangely comfortable. Anybody else do that? I bet Patrice is like, “why oh why did I tag Jen?” now, don’t you think?
3. I told my husband that for my birthday (Christmas Eve, send birthday and Christmas presents to Momma Blogs A Lot @ Blogland USA) all I want is my own domain to be self hosted on Word Press. And he said OKAY. Which means if I want to change my blog name, I need to come up with a newer better one in three months – any ideas or do you all love the name I have now and would be heart broken if I changed it?
4. I worked out today for approximately four minutes and I was exhausted and keeling over at the end of it. I swear I’m not in ridiculously bad shape, but the strange little “step aerobic” machine that we got at Brookstone is like a slave driver – I think they said that 10 minutes on this thing was the equivalent of a  60 minute workout, so I think what I did was like equal to 20 minutes? That’s not so terrible right?
5. I’m kind of hating Jane Eyre. I want to finish it, because well challenge and book club and pride… but… I really don’t like it. I mean, now that it’s finally no longer JUST about a sad little ten year old orphan it’s a bit more interesting and I mean, I read the Eyre Affair so I kind of understand what’s GOING to happen and would like to see that play out, but I think Charlotte Bronte and Nathaniel Hawthorne could have been literature soul mates and that’s not a compliment…
6. I think I’m going to buy books for all the kids on my Christmas list, but now I need to figure out if the books I have in mind are un-owned by the kids I want to get them to, which really just means asking their parents but ughhhhh that’s going to involve calling and emailing people and I’m lazy. For all the family grown assed relatives, I’m making mini loaves of cakey bread stuff, recipe to be determined but cute mini loaf pans have been purchased for $1 each, cool right? And my besties are all getting a hand made craft, but I think it will be cute, so no need for any of them reading this to disown me yet.
