I hadn’t seen this before.
I just can’t understand how of all places, California voted to ban gay marriage. They’re so progressive on most other issues.

Every time someone has posted this or emailed me a link, I have watched it. This makes the ninth time I have seen it and it still makes me cry. Which is marginally better than the impotent fury I was experiencing for the first week after the election, I guess. I keep telling myself it doesn’t matter, just a little bit longer, we’ll get there. Seeing how many people were moved by this commentary, I’m starting to dare to believe it.
