This week’s theme for the I Heart Faces photo contest is “Silly” and the judge is Heidi Lynn a mom and photographer. Check out her photography site and her blog, Minnesota Mom. The picture I chose for this week was taken the day of MM’s first hair cut, well first completed hair cut anyway. I love his sweet silly expression and I’m so glad we were able to capture it – because truly capturing an intended moment in time of a two year old? It’s not easy. @ Jen : Yes definitely – this picture was taken over 6 months ago with dh’s D40 and the pictures are definitely crisper and clearer with his and less sensitive to bad lighting. But I’m still very happy with the new camera, especially because it’s so small that I actually use it!
