Think Thin Thursday: October 1st

thinkthinthursday @ mommablogsalot

I seem to be incapable of putting up my Wednesday Weigh Ins on a Wednesday so I’m going to call this Think Thin Thursday today – better late than never? Next week I might have to call it Feeling Fabulously Fit on a Friday. :OP

Anyway I lost one more pound this week. I only went jogging once but I did a lot of long walks. Yesterday I even took the kids to the park during the day, which meant taking a walk with both kids, without Dan. I think that’s pretty impressive. My diet has also been fairly well on track. So my goals for this week are mostly just to keep up the good work, and give jogging a few more tries since  I bought all those fancy jogging clothes. To be fair, those clothes will all come in handy no matter what workout I’m doing but I am still interested in jogging I just unfortunately decided that right when the weather started getting colder and it started getting dark out sooner. Timing and all.

I have a feeling these posts are all going to start to look alike unless I do something to spice this idea up so why don’t I start ending these posts with a diet / exercise / health related question or twelve? This week, tell me…

  1. What is your favorite fruit or vegetable?
  2. What workouts do you tend to do in the winter months?
  3. Are you getting a flu vaccine this fall? What is your opinion on flu shots in general?

    1. Broccoli and apples
    2. Wii Fit, Sports Active
    3. The only time I ever got a flu shot was 2 days after I gave birth to Zach since they offered it in the hospital. I usually get it for the kids but not myself since I rarely get sick (knock wood) and my immune system finally seems to be back to normal after daycare and school germs.

What is your favorite fruit or vegetable? Brocolli and spinach.
What workouts do you tend to do in the winter months? Walking, situps, pushups.
Are you getting a flu vaccine this fall? What is your opinion on flu shots in general? I think most vaccinations are just ways for doctors to make money and without them there’s be less mental and neurological diseases like autism, depression and all that.

    1. strawberries/asparagus. also like brussel srpouts and butternut squash
    2. got a trainer last winter so I could ride my bike indoors (good to do in front of the tv instead of just sitting on the couch!).
    3. not sure… never got a flu shot, at least in my adult life, but I am paranoid about all this flu/h1n1 junk.
