It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere I go…

• Disney Parks’ blog announced last week that for the first time, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will offer horse-drawn sleigh rides through the woods at Walt Disney World Resort.
• Simple Mom has a great article up about hosting your own cookie swap. If I had friends, I’d totally want to host a cookie swap this year.
• Have you made your Christmas Cards yet? I’m still trying to decide what picture to use. I might take the kids to a Christmas Tree Farm this weekend just to take pictures somewhere wintery looking. Simple Mom has a lot of Christmas Card tips, tricks and linkage for you to look through for inspiration and ideas.
• Have you been to northpole.com yet? Your kids can email Santa their Christmas letters and he’ll email them back. You  can also go there to play reindeer games, sing some songs, find great Christmas themed recipes from Mrs. Claus and a lot more, too. The website is chock full of Christmas Cheer.

Celebrity Gossip

• I think Miley Cirus wants me to hate her. Everything I read about her just makes me grit my teeth and grumble angrily. This latest tid bit about how she hates Twilight? Not helping.
• You know who else hates Twilight, apparently? The Vatican. They have officially declared the books and movies to be deviant. Luckily thing I’m not Catholic or I’d seriously have to reconsider my values right now.
• You probably know that Oprah announced she was retiring last week. I’m wondering why she felt she had to give us a two-year advanced warning? Two years is a long time from now, Oprah. I haven’t even decided what I’m doing this weekend yet.
• But since I base all of my opinions and knowledge on what Ellen is saying, you know I wanted to hear what she had to say about Oprah’s retirement plan. I thought her comments were really sweet and, of course, funny.
• Have you seen how grown up (and adorable) Suri Cruise is getting? I know people like to hate the Cruises but I still love all three of them. Suri and MM are the same age and both of them are just getting so big! And oh my lord, the high heels. Part of me is questioning the choice but then again, when MM wants to wear something random, I tend to go with the flow, too.

• I think the waffle maker industry is begging us for our money. I’ve been seeing little hacks for things you can make with your waffle iron for weeks now. The latest? Pizza Pockets.
• If you’re like me, you probably spend a lot of time sitting in front of your computer, clicking away, probably in a terrible position posture-wise. You might want to check out these Top 10 Ergonomic Upgrades for Your Work Environment, courtesy of Life Hacker of course.
• I really enjoyed this post at copyblogger: the Art of the Paragraph – I think all of us writers, good and bad, will get something out of it. At least a laugh – maybe a tip or two?
