In which November could not make up its mind.

Last week November looked like this:

There were winter jackets and sweaters and occasionally hats and mittens. A few times we had to pull out the major winter jacket that’s like rated for -85 degrees or some such nonsense. It was getting COLD, like you expect November to be when you live in certain parts.

But today, November looked like this:

I think it was like 60 degrees outside guys. Like the pants under the skirt was over kill. But this morning I needed a sweater and jacket to go outside.

Wisconsin weather seems to be known for two things: extreme hot and cold weather ; and occasionally having both kinds in one day.

Like you might need a swim suit and winter boots on the same day.

Times like these remind us to make sure to linger in these warm, perfect moments.

Treasure that half hour of leisurely making your way down the street, taking pictures of bits of flowers and leaves that they find fascinating (instead of rushing there and back as quick as you can before your nose falls off from the COLD).

Stop and make a wish.

And blow those wishes out into the lawn for your husband to yank out in frustration NEXT year.

Take advantage of all this while it lasts.

Go ahead and stop, gaze into the sky for a moment and enjoy the brilliant blue.

It may be gray and raining tomorrow (or you know, in half an hour).

Heck, it could be -10 and snowing tomorrow.

Knock on wood.

Love Love Love the dandilion pics! That’s it, I’ve got to get out and take some fall pics. Just hate that it’s already dark thirty by the time I get home.
