Just Roll with It
really liked it
I liked how it blended fantasy and RPG games with real life problems. A fun story but also some important life lessons along the way. Mental health is a big focus of the story.

A Proud Taste for Scarlet and Miniver
it was amazing
This was excellent. I loved how unstuffy the author made nearly 70 years of history, she really brought the tale to life with a unique perspective and story telling method.

A Single Shard
it was amazing
This was a wonderful story. I really got wrapped up in the main character’s world and now know a lot more about pottery than I did before!

  1. Wow, that Dark Matter book looks extremely interesting, concept wise. The cover has been catching my eye, but this is the first time I’ve actually read anything about it. Sounds like something weird and creative – exactly what I’d want to spend time reading!

  2. Hi! Just stumbled across your blog from this month’s “what’s on your nightstand” post! I think I’ll be back, too. Looks like we have a bit in common (oh, and I’m married to an engineer, too!).
