Let’s just accept the fact that I’ll be trying new looks on this blog constantly, especially now that I’m starting to learn my way around Gimp – this one is just for the holidays, but like my Christmas Tree, don’t be surprised if it lingers post-holidays until it’s pathetic that I’ve still got it up and even MM wants me to take it down…
I changed my button, too – that might be permanent.
Anyway…

@ Krystyn : It’s like photoshop except FREE and a bit more complicated, but if you have any photoshop or similar experience I think you could pick it up okay.

I’m right there with you sister on the Gimp. I don’t know how long I’ve had the program but it took me over a year just to figure out how to do layers. Needless to say I did a lot of google searches for Gimp tutorials and I still don’t even know a 1/4th of it. It’s all about playing with it, even if it takes a year or two.
Oh and I like it (the look)! I like the Gimp too.

Gimp can be very confusing – it took me years to figure it out and it was really dh that helped, now it seems easy, but I can still remember being confused and thinking, “this is stupid.”

Oh it’s so fun and Christmas-y! I tried so hard to figure out that program you told me about. But I couldn’t make sense of it. Bah-Humbug! I’d love a fun layout and such like you have. But what-ev. I’ll make do with what I got. Guess I need to replace your button now!
