“We cannot destroy kindred: our chains stretch a little sometimes, but they never break.”

Last weekend my dad and his wife came to visit and finally meet little Baby Blueberry! A lot of the visit was spent doing what you see above, just relaxing and enjoying each other’s company and I loved it. It’s been months since we’ve been able to see my parents and MM was over the moon being able to show his memé around Wisconsin finally and introduce her to his baby sister. I’m seeing a lot of love in these pictures and already missing them like crazy.

They won’t wait so long next time now that they’ve seen the cutie, huh?

Sweet! I think the very best thing to do when family comes for an extended visit is just to hang out and soak each other up. My MIL came to visit for a week during the summer, and I was afraid beforehand that it would be too long, but after she left, we all missed her!

This post & the last are wonderful. Especially the ones of your dad & stepmom w/ the kids. Love that she’s on the floor w/ BB!
