It took me forever, like FOR FREAKING EVER to jump in on Monday Mingle but not for lack of trying. It seems like every week my bestie Ange @ Mommas Review would say, “Jen this vlogging meme is so much fun, you have to join in!” and I’d say, “Okay!” and I’d put on Photo Booth and record a video and it would be (trust me) awesome but then when I’d finish recording I’d find out that only like 1 minute had recorded for unknown reasons… and this went on for months. Add in a new baby who would frequently start crying / get hungry etc. or the three year old who’d be getting into god only knows what and cause god only knows what mayhem and yeah… it wasn’t happening. But today (after unsuccesfully recording my umpteenth mingle) I was like “THAT’S IT!” and tried to just use my video camera, because duh. But the battery was dead. And I have no idea how to charge it because I’m an idiot.
So I started googling around and tried a lot of stuff and then finally found out that iMovie has a video recording feature, too, that I never knew about. This program can do anything if you can figure out how to use it but once I found the right button to press (the one that looks like a video camera obviously!) it was easy. So…

Next week is all about relationships & marriage so now I have the added challenge of trying to convince my husband to do this with me (please, honey?). The questions for next week will be:
- Men: When your spouse asks you “how does this outfit make me look” – how do you respond? Ladies: Do you really want him to answer honestly?
- Both: What is one thing you should always do to keep your spouse/partner happy? What do you do/say to avoid friction in your relationship?

You did a wonderful mingle. I’m so sorry it caused you so much grief for all of these weeks, but I am glad you finally got it figured out.

Thanksgiving dessert is just fine. I’d rather forgo the rest of the stuff too, and dive right into dessert. Mmmm dessert rocks.
