I’m sure you probably guessed that we were out of town when I wasn’t updating my blog theme every half hour, never mind posting regularly. We spent a week in MA visiting family and friends for Thanksgiving and it was fantastic. We had a great time catching up with everyone, the kids loved all the attention and even better, we are happy to be home, too, which is always nice. I thought about saving all the pictures for my Daybook post on Monday but there are so many of them that I figured I’d devote an entire post to them. Your welcome.
Ferb was nice enough to ride with MM on the airplane trip to Massachusetts.
He was an excellent travel companion and very curious about airplanes.
He was thrilled of course to have a window seat with a view of the plane’s wing.
Need more Ferb pictures in your life? I posted a fourth shot at my 365 project.
The kids shared a bedroom in the basement apartment that my dad built in his house.
This might be BB’s last year in a pack and play, she seemed dangerously close to climbing right out.
She loved having so many hard surfaces to throw toys onto loudly – which she did repeatedly.
Monday morning we went to my friend’s house and MM and his fiance, G, played Just Dance 2 together.
MM mostly just stood around though, clearly no match for G’s stellar dance moves.
This little girl can dance. We might have to teach MM some moves for their wedding reception.
MM was thrilled to see his old toy piano. Doesn’t he look like that boy from Charlie Brown?
BB loved the piano, too, and was really just the right age for it and played with it a lot.
She also liked playing it with her feet but sadly I have no pictures of that.
On Wednesday night we baked pies with my grandmother and MM and Dan made this haunted gingerbread house together. Pretty impressive, huh?
BB was pretty clingy for the trip and didn’t really take to being held by others much sadly.
We spent a lot of time with her clinging to our legs like this.
Even Nana Rose (my inlaw’s adorable dog) couldn’t convince her to leave daddy’s arms.
… Hmm, how ’bout I post more later? Speaking of fussy babies, I seem to have one right now that needs tending to.
Have a great night and I promise to post again soon!
