I’ve been doing family interviews with MM for a couple years now. Last year I had MM answer for BB – this year I asked each kid individually. I thought I’d just type out their answers this year as I don’t feel like fiddling with the scanner. Ready?
An intimate interview with MM, age 5
What is your favorite…
toy: My woody doll, you know from Toy Story.
tv show: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
book: Curious George (like this one)
animal: giraffe
movie: Phineas and Ferb (across the 2nd dimension)
holiday: Christmas, because I get presents
food: hot dogs – with ketchup!
drink: milk, you know from a cow (after asking him what kind of milk)
color: yellow and orange
clothes: my Perry the Platypus shirt
place to go: the zoo!
If you could change your name, what name would you choose? Mike (I’m sure it has nothing to do with his best friend, Mike)
What do you love about mommy? Your glasses. (seriously, he said the same thing last year. I’m not kidding)
What do you love about daddy? his glasses
Where would you like to go on vacation this year? to visit grammy & papa
A candid interview with Miss BB, age 2
(to get her answers this year, I had to present multiple choices using things I knew she liked, I think I did the same thing with MM the first year or two)
What is your favorite…
toy: Minnie Doll (this one)
tv show: Elmo’s World!
book: Bunny Book (this one)
animal: kitties!
movie: Snoopy
holiday: Christmas!
food: gold fish!
drink: apple juice
color: PINK
clothes: dresses!
place to go: the playground
If you could change your name, what name would you choose? Dress
What do you love about mommy? Mum
What do you love about daddy? Daddy!
Where would you like to go on vacation this year? Vacation, right mom? RIGHT?
Her interview was pretty fun, although I was being pretty brave mentioning things like Elmo and gold fish – there was a pretty big risk of the interview being OVER until actual Elmo and goldfish were delivered.
Here are some old interviews from previous years. For some reason I can’t find any recollection of posting them in 2011, but we definitely did them.
I love this idea, and I love their answers. 🙂
