Obsessing over: the weight that I didn’t lose this week despite 5 days of hard work, because of two days of slacking off. But not slacking off nearly as bad as I was slacking off before the diet… So I suppose no weight gain is better news than weight gain… I’m hungry.
Feeling: hungry. I think I’ll have an early lunch. A healthy early lunch, I promise…
Working on: the whole daily grind / household chores thing. Laundry, dishes, paper clutter. It’s all been piling on lately and I’m slowly weeding through it all… You know, normal Monday stuff.
Thinking about: the week ahead and making plans. We have some fun things on the schedule but the next three days are all completely empty. So the goal is to not waste those three days sitting around doing nothing. Which would be much more likely to happen if it weren’t going to be raining all three days.
Reading: Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson which continues to delight. I have less than 100 pages to go and I’m both eager to finish so I can read more fun books and also lingering a bit in this book because I’m enjoying it so much. So many books, so little time – but I’m glad to be spending my time right now with such a funny, insightful memoir by one of my favorite bloggers.
Anticipating: Mothers Day. I know those boys of mine have something cooked up to surprise me with and I’m looking forward to seeing what it is.
Listening to: BB playing with her xylophone… loudly.
Drinking: water, of course. I didn’t do a great job with my water intake yesterday but today is a new day and I’m aiming to make good choices!
Wishing: I drove a Subaru. What else is new?
