I stumbled across this Get Peanutized website this morning while the kids were getting ready for school and when BB walked in and saw it she insisted on playing along. We may have been five minutes later than planned this morning. Worth it.
Here is what BB would look like as a Peanuts character:
I know she doesn’t really look anything like this – I tried to talk her into sunglasses since she doesn’t wear glasses but she insisted that these were cuter (I agree). And the pink hair? I guess I should have seen that coming – brace yourself for her teenage years, basically. The all green ensemble is quite fetching, don’t you think?
Here’s what her brother picked out:
My kids love monochromatic outfits, clearly. This is pretty much MM pegged here, though his hair is shorter these days and he doesn’t have an analog watch but you know, details.
Of course, I had to Peanutize myself, too! When I got back home from dropping the kids off, I set to work designing hubby and myself.
Here’s what I’d look like as a Peanuts character:
I really struggled on the shoes. I didn’t like any of them. And the shirt is a little more ruffly than I’d like, but overall this is pretty spot on. Of course, I had to choose the same glasses that BB did because it was these, sunglasses or super dorky generic glasses, sooo… yeah.
And here’s how I designed my Peanuts husband…
I mean the outfit? It’s pretty spot on guys. And once again, our kids are sporting the same eyeglasses that we are. There was just one thing missing because this picture above looks like how my husband looked when we first met maybe, but these days he looks more like…
And I mean if we want to get technical – in the peanuts universe, Dan and I would both look more like…
EDIT
Because I can’t leave well enough alone, here’s how I would have designed BB as a Peanuts Character
And here’s how I’d design MM…
