Link Love: Vol. 17

So it’s October now and the leaves are a brilliant array of colors, the air is crisp but not quite cold yet, the lattes are pumpkin spiced if you like that kind of thing. My calendar continues to look kind of insane with mom work life stuff and I’m feeling too scattered right now to write something clever, so instead you get a brain dump in the guise of a Weekend Link Love post – yay!!! Here’s some stuff online that made me lol or #allthefeels and stuff this week:

I loved this post at language.aplus.com about how messed up the English language is. This is still my favorite part:

According to Iliza Shlesinger, all women love fall.

PureWow has a list of Fall Stuff for those of us who are just faking it in an attempt to keep our Girl Card intact.

If you aren’t ready to throw the towel in on fall yet, might I suggest 15 things to do with pumpkins (besides carving them) at Mental Floss?

The Lazy Genius Collective is kind of rocking my world right now. I especially loved this post: Quit Setting Stupid Goals.

HuffPost Parents wrote a post about Generation X’s Parenting Problem that is probably going to rile up a lot of people. People like to rile about things.

Have a great weekend!

Say whaaaat? Still sitting here trying to figure out how that “only thing” works. Only, if I knew. If only, I knew. If I only knew. If I knew only. (that last one doesn’t exactly work but still very intriguing)
