This week’s top ten Tuesday prompt (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) is 10 book series that you want to finish which can include ones you haven’t actually started yet. My list is very fantasy heavy which is funny because I read a lot of genres but I guess fantasy lends itself well to the serial format? Or the romantasy girl trope has finally claimed me. 🤷🏻♀️👸🏻🐉
6 I’d like to finish

Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde : The last book is coming out soon and I realized I am a book behind so I’ve got The Woman Who Died a Lot loaded on my Kindle and I’m feeling kind of lost because I read book 6 way back in 2014. Do I attempt a full reread? Do I have the attention span for such an undertaking? 😵💫📚🫠
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman : Is it too soon to declare this when I’m only 7% through the first book? I have already entered hopeless fangirl territory and the Internet is fanning the flames of this love affair 👑🐈⬛🧌
Fourth Wing series by Rebecca Yarros : I’m technically reading book two right now. Is it getting my full attention? Not really. But I loved book one SO MUCH and I’m definitely planning to finish the series. 🐉🐉❤️🔥
Discworld by Terry Prachett: Let’s be so for real, my odds of finishing this massive series seems unlikely but I loved The Color of Magic and would definitely like to read more of the books in the series which I’m told don’t even necessarily need to be read chronologically. I’m eyeing The Wyrd Sisters next. 🛸🧙🏻♀️😅
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas : I guess? My friends swear it gets better in book two and I have a deal with one of my besties that if she reads Dungeon Crawler Carl, I’ll read A Court of Mist and Fury. Whether I continue the series after that depends entirely on how book two goes because tbh I was underwhelmed by book one. 🧚🏻♀️🌬️❤️🔥
Well Versed by Jen Deluca is coming out next month and I’m very excited to continue this series of rom coms set at the Ren faire. I read the first four books and loved all of them. 🎠💘👒
4 I’d like to start

The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes : I just bought this book a week ago after hearing a lot of high praise for the series. It looks like a lot of fun! 🏠💰🤔
Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan : I loved the TV show and I have big ambitions to read at least the first book in the series but it is HUGE and intimidating 🧝🏻♀️☸️⚔️
The Dark Tower series by Stephen King: this is one of my husband’s favorite series and I’ve always meant to read at least the first book. I’m not into horror for the most part so this seems like a good way to experience King’s writing while still being able to sleep at night. 🔫🏙️🕶️
Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson: this is another series that I hear people talking about all the time that I should probably check out eventually. I honestly don’t know anything about it except that it’s popular fantasy. 💨👶🏻🤔
Which one should I read first?
