Lately I’ve been having a really hard time finding things to eat for breakfast – okay so I’ve always had a hard time – I don’t seem to like anything consistently and end up with a lot of half eaten boxes of things that I no longer want. When my morning sickness started in this pregnancy I began eating just plain toast with butter and a cup of tea – but now I’m practically into my second trimester, the morning sickness is gone, and that’s still what I’m eating. So my Aloha Friday question this week is.
What do you normally eat for breakfast? What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
My breakfast is pretty simple…usually a Special K bar and a cup of coffee! Of course that leaves me pretty hungry about 10:00 a.m.!

When I am on my diet like now …. I just eat 2 eggs and coffee… when I am NOT on my diet lol I love cereal.. or waffles.. YUM

I usually just have coffee…maybe a granola bar.
If I am having a big weekend breakfast, I like Bickfords! Sausage and cheese omlet with buttermilk pancakes. MMMM!

Typical breakfast consists of either cereal (mini-wheats, special K, raisin bran), oatmeal or a waffle. I want to start doing something w/ more protein because I’ve read that is crucial to being less hungry during the day but I just don’t really crave protein in the morning.

A big old blue berry muffin and lots of fruit and maybe some bacon is my kind of breakfast…though I rarely ever get this for breakfast. I’m just not a big breakfast person. Its usually cereal..Cinammon Toast Crunch or a waffle. Pretty boring I know.

Breakfast can be any of the following. It also depends on if I’m at work or not.
A WW bagel with WW cream cheese
Low fat whole wheat Nutri-grain waffles with 2% cottage cheese
Lean Pocket breakfast sandwich (I like the bacon, egg and cheese)
Shredded wheat with milk
Oatmeal
Pancakes if DH makes them
Fried egg and cheese on a WW bagel
And of course, lots and lots of coffee.

This morning I had a yogurt with Fiber One cereal in it (1 point on WW), but most mornings if I am hungry I will have oatmeal or cereal.

My favorite breakfast is cinnamon raisin pancakes – yum!

I LOVE breakfast foods. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, cereal – all of it. So now that you are getting over your dreaded morning sickness – dig in!!! Totally take advantage of your 2nd tri while you can 🙂

I have been eating a lot of eggs. I started the South Beach diet in June, and I lost a lot of weight. I got in the habit of eating eggs many different ways, and I NOT an egg person. But now I eat them a whole lot. I really love stuffed french toast, though!!!

We vary what we have for breakfast from day to day. Today we all had oatmeal, Boug had some yogurt too. My favorite breakfast is a crazy fattening bacon, cheese, tomato and onion omlette with hash browns or home fries and toast and sausage links!! OMG…. in a perfect world I could eat that without gaining an ounce!!

My usual breakfast is a bowl of vanilla yogurt burst cheerios with milk. My favorite bfast is a fried egg w/ rice (it’s the filipino in me) and sausage.

For years I would have a bagel with egg and cheese every morning. I’ve broken away and added cranberry oatmeal to the rotation. I am very habitual!

just remembered I haven’t eaten yet! Breakfast foods are my favorite! My favorite healthy is a smoothie with bananas and frozen berries, protein powder and a tablespoon of flaxseed oil. My favorite no-so-healthy is bagels with butter and just a little cream cheese, because I’m a butter fanatic.

Most the time I eat cereal, Luck Charms is my favorite. Having kids makes it less embarrasing when I buy it at the grocery store.
I also love to eat oatmeal. I can’t eat the flavored packs full strength so I mix on flavor pack with plain oatmeal as well.
Sometimes I mix plain oatmeat with a chopped up banana and some Protein powder (vanilla flavored). I find this really good and it is a good balanced meal.

Now that I am dieting my breakfast is either a bowl of cereal with skim milk or 2 Special K bars and a diet coke.
Before dieting I would have pancakes or those pancake/sausage on a stick thingys.
I once ate SpaghettiOs for breakfast for months! Weird! They just tasted so good to me first thing in the morning
Funny you should ask this question…I forgot my special k bars and I am sitting here in the hotel not wanting to go out in the cold to get breakfast AND not wanting to pay the $$$ for room service….$11 for a bowl of cereal and a cup of juice! Ouch!

My favourite thing is a toasted bacon sandwich with piccallili in. Unfortunately it doesn’ t agree with my diet, so it’s bran flakes and skimmed milk for me!
