Jenn and Amber are back with more interview questions, this time, questions to ask your kids about themselves. If you missed it, last week I posted questions that the kids answered about me. Hilarity ensued, obviously. So I figured the following questions would likely result in liquid gold or at the very least a few chuckles.
Behold! The responses of my offspring:
What is the meaning of life?
BB, Age 3: um, a sun.
MM, Age 7: I don’t know, I really don’t know, ok?
Well, we’re off to a rocky start so far, but don’t worry they are just getting warmed up and haven’t seen The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy yet.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
BB: Cinderella
MM: an actor of Doctor Who
BB literally wants to be Cinderalla, MM literally want to be the actor who portrays Doctor Who someday. Both noble goals, I think.
What brings you the most happiness?
BB: my brother
MM: well, my favorite thing is Doctor Who, so that’s what I would say.
Awwww…. isn’t she sweet? Wow, isn’t he single minded?
When do you feel the most loved?
BB: Sunday lmao
MM: when I’m with everybody. Ok, now he’s sweet, too.
What are you afraid of?
BB: those scary birds, the scary ones and they were black… I still have no idea what she’s talking about.
MM: nothing really. At least I don’t think I’m afraid of anything. Oh to be that age.
If you had one wish, what would you wish for?
BB: um, a telephone. I think she’s still too young…
MM: Doctor Who to be real. Wouldn’t we all…
What is the funniest word?
BB: button… button. She was seriously cracking up over this one. “Get it mommy, button???”
MM: plethora, I found out what it means on Word Girl – it means a lot of something. “That’s my favorite word…”
What is the hardest/easiest thing to do?
BB: a present giving up / getting excited. So true.
MM: to make a tent upstairs / to read a chapter book He thought really hard about this one!
What is the best/worst thing in the world?
BB: a present with a doll in it / um… a ring. I didn’t thing rings were all that bad…
MM: The best thing in the world? Wow – the sun. / I think that is rain. His mind had moved on to his chances of playing outside that day.
What makes you mad?
BB: a computer (I swear she’s just looking around the office and naming things)
MM: sometimes when I don’t get my way, that’s one thing. Mr. Literal here.
What is the meaning of love?
BB: a heart
MM: well, it means that you really like something.
There you have it, folks.
If you had all the money in the world, what would you do with it?
BB: I would… buy something.
MM: Huh… I would buy a lot of things…
Clearly these kids don’t want for much.
This time it was kind of the reverse from last week. BB was a little more hesitant with her answers and often resorted to one word responses. MM gave his answers a little more thought this time and seemed genuinely interested in the whole thing. Figures, the kid loves to talk about himself! I wonder where he gets that from…
If you play along on your blog, let me know. I’d love to read your kids responses!
One response to “Another peek into the minds of my children. Yay for Q&A!”
I did it to finally! lol
