I’m playing along with What Are You Reading Wednesdays, a weekly meme hosted by Its A Reading Thing.
To participate, open the book you are currently reading to page 34 (or 34% in your ebook) and answer these three questions. If you have a blog, leave a link down in the comments so that others can visit and see your post. If not, just leave a note with your answers.
The Questions are:
1. What’s the name of your current read?
The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo
2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a complete sentence. (or two!)
“When you tidy your space completely, you transform the scenery. The change is so profound that you feel as if you are living in a totally different world. This deeply affects your mind and inspires a strong aversion to reverting to your previously cluttered state.”
3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?
A world in which I’ve followed all the advice in the book and my house has become magically tidy and clutter free? Yes, I desperately want to go to there. (to quote Liz Lemon)

I’ve heard about this book, I’ve had a few friends read it. My question is with two active boys, how am I supposed to find the time to organize the entire house at once? (I heard that’s how it works – you have to do the whole thing at once.) I’d need a crew to come in I think. 🙂

I’m certainly not doing it all at once but I’m doing it quicker than I would have otherwise, you know?

Everyone is talking about that book. I have it on hold at the library right now, but I think I’m number 75 on the waiting list. 😦

The best thing about this book is that I keep bringing piles of trash to the dumpster that used to be clutter in my house. Just start throwing stuff away while you wait for the book and you’ll have a head start!

Haha. I actually don’t have that much extra stuff in the house. I love to give stuff away. I’m just curious what other tips I might pick up. And I kind of just want to know what all the buzz is about, ya know?
