WWW Wednesday | Jan 22

I haven’t done one of these for awhile. WWW was originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm and revived by Taking on a World of Words. This meme tries to answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you finish recently reading?

What are you currently reading?

Right now I’m reading Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberly and Austin Siegemund-Broka. It’s a YA story about a girl convinced that she is always “the girl before.” I am still settling into the story but one of the things that struck me about this is how different the main character is from a lot of the other books I read. I guess I seem to gravitate towards the shy Bookworm stories so her brazenness took me by surprise.

What did you finish recently reading?

I just finished reading Guts by Raina Teglemeier. This is the third in a series of graphic memoirs. Both my kids and I have been reading them and I’m basically a huge Raina Teglemeier fangirl at this point. These are great for the tween set. This book deals with anxiety, friendship, food phobias, and all the normal tween stuff as well.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m still working my way through this stack. I’ll most likely pick up Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey next.

What are you reading right now?

Mom to 2 kids and 1 dog. Wife of 1 handsome engineer. I'm almost always found behind the camera, in front of the computer, lost in a good book or dragging my family on another new adventure.
