Right now I’m reading Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberly and Austin Siegemund-Broka. It’s a YA story about a girl convinced that she is always “the girl before.” I am still settling into the story but one of the things that struck me about this is how different the main character is from a lot of the other books I read. I guess I seem to gravitate towards the shy Bookworm stories so her brazenness took me by surprise.

What did you finish recently reading?

I just finished reading Guts by Raina Teglemeier. This is the third in a series of graphic memoirs. Both my kids and I have been reading them and I’m basically a huge Raina Teglemeier fangirl at this point. These are great for the tween set. This book deals with anxiety, friendship, food phobias, and all the normal tween stuff as well.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m still working my way through this stack. I’ll most likely pick up Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey next.
